WHY THIS QUIZ IS DIFFERENT

Real data. Honest tradeoffs.

Most retirement quizzes pick the answer first.

You answer a few mood-board questions and they hand you a sunny coastal town. The math behind the recommendation is unclear, the cities pool is small, and the rankings rarely update.

This quiz starts from a 100-city database, each city scored on the same 10 dimensions using sources like Zillow ZHVI for housing, CMS for Medicare costs, KFF for Medigap, BLS Consumer Expenditure Survey for non-housing budget, and federal climate-risk data. The methodology is published. The figures are dated.

Your quiz answers re-weight the rankings to reflect what you care about, then surface tradeoffs honestly. If a top match has hurricane risk or no major airport, the profile says so.
